ICC U19 World Cup 2024: After a staggering Men’s World Cup 2023 in India, ICC is set to stage the World Cup for the Under19 category. The U19 World Cup 2024 is slated to be hosted in South Africa at four different venues. ICC U19 World Cup 2024

Starting on Friday, January 19, 2024, South Africa will serve as the host nation for the month-long ICC Men’s U19 World Cup 2024. There are four groups confirmed and each group will consist of 4 teams meaning as many as 16 countries will battle it out in 24 days with 41 matches played.

Defending Champions India

It’s a 16-team event, and the top three teams from each group advance to the Super Six, the following round. Here, two groups of six teams each will be created, and the two groups’ top two teams will advance to the semifinals. With five tournament victories to their account, India are the reigning champion.

The Indian Under-19 side, spearheaded by Uday Saharan, will kick off their campaign in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2024 on Saturday, January 20. Their first game will be against Bangladesh.
