Make Mary Berry’s baked salmon with twist – parmesan and parsley crust

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.

Season both sides of the salmon fillets and put them on top of a greased baking sheet or roasting tin.

Mash the cream cheese along with the garlic, salt and pepper and lemon rind. Seperate into six and spread the cream cheese on top of each salmon fillet. Mix the breadcrumbs, parmesan and parsley in a small bowl and season. Sprinkle the blend on top of the cream cheese mixture and dust with paprika.

Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. When the salmon is done you’ll know because it will have changed from a translucent color to an opaque pink.

Serve the meal garnished with chopped parsley.
