New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL)’s consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March dropped 3.6% on-year to ₹₹4,166 crore. Revenue from operations fell to ₹11,978 crore, down 2.5% from the corresponding period a year ago. In FY24, the company incurred a capital expenditure of ₹12,500 crore and capitalised assets worth ₹7,618 crore on a consolidated basis, it said in a statement. The total transmission assets of the company and its subsidiaries stood at 1,77,699 circuit km of transmission lines, 278 substations and 5,27,446 MVA of transformation capacity.
