Arshdeep Singh is expected to achieve the feat in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025. The fast bowler is currently at 99 wickets in the format and is likely to complete the milestone in India’s first game of the tournament, which is against the United Arab Emirates on 10th September.
Arshdeep Singh has been sensational with the ball for India ever since he made his debut for the side in T20Is. The left-arm pacer has taken 99 scalps in 63 matches at an impeccable average of 18.3 and a strike rate of 13.23. He is followed by Hardik Pandya, who has taken 94 wickets.
Arshdeep Singh is leading the wicket-taker for India in T20Is and would be a key player for his side in the Asia Cup 2025. The fast bowler helped India win the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, where he was the highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets.

If Arshdeep Singh achieves the feat, he will become the fastest Indian player to take 100 wickets in T20Is. Overall, he will become the fourth fastest to the feat, joining the likes of Rashid Khan, Sandeep Lamichhane and Wanindu Hasaranga.
