India playing XI for the UAE clash leaked!

The Indian playing XI for the Asia Cup 2025 has been in the news for many days. However, with the match around the corner, the Indian XI has been leaked. The Times of India and RevSportz Journalist Rohit Juglan, who are covering the Asia Cup in Dubai, provided an update about the team.

According to that, Shubman Gill will be opening the innings alongside Abhishek Sharma. While Gill will be making his return to the T20Is after one long year, Abhishek is the number one-ranked batter in the world in this format.

Tilak Verma and Suryakumar Yadav will be there at three and four, followed by all-rounders in Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya. They will be key for India in the tournament as they will have to play a dual role with bat and ball in all the games on slow surfaces in the UAE.

There is likely to be a toss-up between Rinku Singh and Shivam Dube for the finisher’s role. But the main highlight of the playing XI was Sanju Samson not being there. Jitesh Sharma will be keeping the wickets and will bat in the lower order, where he is best suited.

There will be no place for Kuldeep Yadav as well, and Varun Chakravarthy will be the specialist spinner. He will be handling the duties with Axar Patel. While Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh will be the key pacers.
