Okaya ferrato Disruptor: Okaya launches e-bike ‘Disruptor’ at Rs 1.59 lakh; Running cost to be 25 paisa/km

Ferrato, the premium brand under Okaya EV, has launched its latest electric bike model, the “Disruptor” at a starting price of Rs 1.4 lakh in Delhi (after subsidy price). The company announced that the e-bike will be sold under the brand Ferrato. The running cost of the bike would be around 25 paisa per km. The company also announced that the delivery will start in 90 days and it plans to launch another e-bike and scooter this year.

“The bike will offer a range of 129 km on a single charge, featuring a powerful PMSM center motor chain-driven system capable of delivering a peak power of 6.37 kW with a top speed of 95 km/h in three dynamic drive modes – Eco, City, and Sports,” the company announced in a release.

“With a capacity of 3.97 kWh, it is well-equipped for higher thermal runaway at 270 °C, making it perfect for India’s weather conditions. Its IP-67 rating offers exceptional durability and reliability, backed by a comprehensive 3-year/30,000 km warranty,” it said.

The company had already started pre-bookings for the electric bike. Interested buyers can secure their orders through the company’s official website. Additionally, Okaya introduced a special offer for the initial 1000 customers, allowing them to reserve the bike for a mere Rs 500. Following this limited offer, the price will transition to Rs 2,500.The Disruptor distinguishes itself with a torque of 228 Nm, equipped with a potent PMSM motor boasting a peak power of 6.37 kW, facilitating a top speed of 95 kmph. According to the company’s specifications, it offers a range of 129 km, driven by LFP battery technology with a capacity of 3.97 kWh.
